Diahann JohnBaptiste is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist who serves adults, children, and couples families struggling with mental health disparities, stress, and everyday life decisions that may require the assistance and guidance of a life coach or Christian Counselor.  Diahann is the Owner and President of Generation Health Alliance Foundation, Inc.

Generation Health Alliance Foundation (d/b/a GHA) provides effective support programs to and for the benefit of the citizens of Atlanta and the surrounding areas thereof in the State of Georgia and shall be exclusively religious, charitable, scientific, and literary educational.

Diahann is an educator, therapist, and ministry leader. As a licensed Minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, Diahann accepted her calling to preach the gospel and has been confirmed in the Spiritual Office of a Prophet by Apostle Dr. David E. Jackson, Founder of The Rock ATL International Fellowship,  President of The Rock ATL Apostolic Training Center and the Naioth School of the Prophets.  Diahann serves as Piller Director of Ambassador Care and Empowerment, Missions, Evangelism, and Outreach, and the Youth and Children Ministries. She is a teacher in the Naioth School of the Prophets.

Diahann integrates her background in psychology with biblical principles by the guiding of the Holy Spirit in her approach in the healing ministry of deliverance and inner healing.  She focuses on healing the body, mind, and soul. She considers her approach to be total spiritual alignment according to the will of God.  The Bible says in Philippians 2:13, “It is God who works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”  Therefore, a focal point of discussion is, "what has God put in your heart to do for others in His Name".

She previously served as a Program Administrator for the Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute, as well as the Psychiatry Residency Training Program for a combined 14 1/2 years She retired from Emory University in August 2019 in order to focus on her work in Ministry and Counseling.  Diahann wears many hats in the market place but as a therapist, she has partnered with providers over the years to service men, women and youth in crisis at  counseling facilities and organizations such as the Partners Against Domestic Violence (PADV) Shelter, CHRIS 180 Counseling Center, DeKalb County Juvenile Justice System, Grady Hospital Behavioral Health Outpatient Center, and several others  throughout Atlanta, Georgia.

She provides direct-care Christian Counseling, Life Coaching, and Mentorship services.  Over the years, Diahann has developed an interest in assisting clients with traumatic histories of abuse (physical, emotional, or sexual abuse). She is passionate about helping people to heal from life experiences that have left them hurt and feeling hopeless. For the past two years, she has worked directly with young girls who are survivors of sex-trafficking. She not only provides therapy but also respite care services. Feel free to contact Diahann for speaking engagements, and to present workshops or seminars on mental, emotional, and spiritual health and wellness.

Intergrative Therapy

"Integrative therapy is a progressive form of psychotherapy that combines different therapeutic tools and approaches to fit the needs of the individual client.  With an understanding of normal human development, an integrative therapist modifies standard treatments to fill in development gaps that affect each client in different ways. By combining elements drawn from different schools of psychological theory and research, integrative therapy becomes a more flexible and inclusive approach to treatment than more traditional, singular forms of psychotherapy."(reference)

My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. My counseling style is empathetic, genuine and warm while also being practical and realistic.  With care, compassion, and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
