Ministry Leader - Educator - Public Speaker

DIAHANN JOHNBAPTISTE, MPA, MS

Georgia License No. APC004857

Diahann JohnBaptiste is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist who treat clients with severe and persistent mental illnesses, and she is the Owner and President of Generation Health Alliance Foundation, Inc.

Generation Health Alliance Foundation (d/b/a GHA) provides effective support programs to and for the benefit of the citizens of Atlanta and the surrounding areas thereof in the State of Georgia and shall be exclusively religious, charitable, scientific, and literary educational.

Diahann is an educator, therapist, and ministry leader. She wears many hats in the market place but as a therapist, she has provided therapeutic services to women and children at the Partners Against Domestic Violence (PADV) Shelter and the CHRIS Kids Counseling Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She also provided weekly therapy groups to adolescents in the DeKalb County Juvenile Justice System to address drug use and violent crime among the adolescent population.

She has worked in the field of mental health for over 15 years, and is well versed in a variety of therapeutic modalities. She provided services to clients at the Grady Memorial Hospital Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic.  She has developed an interest in assisting clients with traumatic histories of abuse (physical, emotional, or sexual abuse). She is passionate about helping people to heal from life experiences that have left them hurt and feeling hopeless.  She currently serves as Program Administrator for the Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute.  Diahann has been with Emory University for over thirteen years in the area of Education Administration.

As a licensed Minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ, Diahann accepted her calling to preach the gospel after being confirmed and licensed in the Spiritual Office of a Prophet by Bishop Dr. David E. Jackson, former Senior Pastor of Mount Sinai Baptist Church of Atlanta, and presently the Founder and Lead-Pastor of The Rock-Atlanta. Diahann integrates her background in psychology with biblical principles by the guiding of the Holy Spirit in her approach in the healing ministry of deliverance and inner healing.  She focuses on healing the body, mind, and soul. She considers her approach to be total spiritual alignment according to the will of God.  The Bible says in Philippians 2:13, “It is God who works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”  Therefore, a focal point of discussion is, "what has God put in your heart to do for others in His Name".

Feel free to contact Diahann for speaking engagements, and to present workshops or seminars on mental, emotional, and spiritual health and wellness.

Intergrative Therapy

"Integrative therapy is a progressive form of psychotherapy that combines different therapeutic tools and approaches to fit the needs of the individual client.  With an understanding of normal human development, an integrative therapist modifies standard treatments to fill in development gaps that affect each client in different ways. By combining elements drawn from different schools of psychological theory and research, integrative therapy becomes a more flexible and inclusive approach to treatment than more traditional, singular forms of psychotherapy."(reference)

My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. My counseling style is empathetic, genuine and warm while also being practical and realistic.  With care, compassion, and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
